The CRRA practicum rubric.

The credential is earned in reviewed work, and the bar is published in advance — the same transparency discipline as the Championship. Every practicum portfolio is scored blind by two independent reviewers against exactly this rubric.

How review works

Blind, independent, auditable.

01

Blind assignment

Candidate identity is stripped before review. Two reviewers — certified members with conflict-of-interest recusal — score independently against the rubric below.

02

The split rule

If the two scores differ by more than 12 points, a third reviewer scores the portfolio and replaces the outlier — the same mechanism the Championship uses.

03

Feedback either way

Every candidate receives a structured feedback sheet, pass or fail. A returned portfolio may be resubmitted once at no charge.

The rubric

100 points. 70 to pass.

No criterion may score below half its available points, and any fabrication — an invented company, credential, statistic, or third-party work presented as original — fails the portfolio regardless of score.

CriterionWhat reviewers are instructed to rewardPoints
StrategyA search thesis honestly derivable from the intake; market mapping with live demand evidence; tiering and positioning that fit this client and this market — not a template.25
Execution craftThe quality of the artifacts themselves — materials, outreach, sequences, prep pack, negotiation memo. Specificity, voice fidelity, and work a real client could use tomorrow.30
Systems & reportingTracker discipline — one next action per open item, channels coordinated, distribution reconciled — and weekly reports a lay client could follow.15
Ethics & client careCompliant agreement and consent instruments, honest expectation-setting, the confidential-search posture correctly applied, approval gates visible throughout.15
Evidence qualityCompleteness and internal consistency: numbers that reconcile across artifacts, research that is real and checkable, measurement computed from the candidate’s own tracker.15
Total100

At the NCRR and CMRR levels the same family of standard applies to real anonymized engagements — with client attestations, outcome verification, and (at CMRR) a live case defense. The Championship’s 100-point rubric is the honors-weighted sibling of this one: outcomes weigh heaviest there, method and evidence weigh heaviest here, and the evidence discipline is identical.

The portfolio

Fourteen artifacts, one engagement.

The practicum runs a standardized client case against a real market. Enrolled members receive the full case brief and artifact requirements in the member portal; in summary, the portfolio spans intake-to-thesis, the engagement agreement, market map and tiered target list, positioning brief, resume and tailored variant, LinkedIn rebuild with a visibility settings sheet, the collateral kit, a content calendar with client-voice posts, a wrapped application, the recruiter map and distribution plan, researched outreach with a sequence plan, the populated tracker with two weekly reports, an interview prep pack with a negotiation memo, and the measurement sheet.
