A profession built on client confidentiality should model it. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
Effective date: [date pending — published with incorporation] · Applies to reverserecruiterassociation.com and the NRRA member portal.
Information you give us. When you contact us, join, register for training, or sit an examination, we collect what the form asks for: name, email, professional details, membership class, and course/exam activity. Payment is processed by our payment provider (Stripe); the association does not store card numbers.
Information created by your membership. Certification results, credential status, honors, and any ethics sanction — the material the public registry exists to verify.
Technical information. Standard server logs (IP address, pages requested, timestamps) used for security and troubleshooting. The public site does not run third-party advertising or cross-site tracking; fonts are served by Google Fonts, which receives standard request data.
Candidate Choice Award ballots are submitted by clients of members. Ballot contents are used only for award administration and integrity audits, are never shared with the rated member in identifiable form, and are retained only as long as audit requirements demand.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing [email protected]. Registry entries for credentials and sanctions are retained as the permanent public record of the credentialing function; if you resign your membership, your directory listing is removed but the historical record of credentials earned remains.
Portal passwords are stored only as salted cryptographic hashes; sessions use signed, httpOnly cookies; examination answer keys never leave the server. We retain personal information only as long as the purpose it was collected for requires, or as law and audit obligations demand.
Our services are for professionals and adult job seekers. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
We will post any material change to this policy here with a new effective date. Questions: [email protected], or write to the association at its principal office [address pending].
