Privacy Policy

A profession built on client confidentiality should model it. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

Effective date: [date pending — published with incorporation] · Applies to reverserecruiterassociation.com and the NRRA member portal.

What we collect

Information you give us. When you contact us, join, register for training, or sit an examination, we collect what the form asks for: name, email, professional details, membership class, and course/exam activity. Payment is processed by our payment provider (Stripe); the association does not store card numbers.

Information created by your membership. Certification results, credential status, honors, and any ethics sanction — the material the public registry exists to verify.

Technical information. Standard server logs (IP address, pages requested, timestamps) used for security and troubleshooting. The public site does not run third-party advertising or cross-site tracking; fonts are served by Google Fonts, which receives standard request data.

How we use it

  • To operate membership, certification, training, examinations, and the member portal.
  • To maintain the public credential registry — a certified member's name, credential, year, and status are public by design; that is what makes the credential verifiable.
  • To administer awards, including validating client ballots for the Candidate Choice Award.
  • To communicate with you about your membership and the association's programs.
  • To meet legal obligations and protect the association and its members from fraud and abuse.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell personal information.
  • We do not share member information with third parties except service providers bound to confidentiality (hosting, payments, email), or where the law requires.
  • We do not publish anything about non-certified members without consent, beyond what you choose to display.

Award ballots and client data

Candidate Choice Award ballots are submitted by clients of members. Ballot contents are used only for award administration and integrity audits, are never shared with the rated member in identifiable form, and are retained only as long as audit requirements demand.

Your choices

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing [email protected]. Registry entries for credentials and sanctions are retained as the permanent public record of the credentialing function; if you resign your membership, your directory listing is removed but the historical record of credentials earned remains.

Security and retention

Portal passwords are stored only as salted cryptographic hashes; sessions use signed, httpOnly cookies; examination answer keys never leave the server. We retain personal information only as long as the purpose it was collected for requires, or as law and audit obligations demand.

Children

Our services are for professionals and adult job seekers. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes and contact

We will post any material change to this policy here with a new effective date. Questions: [email protected], or write to the association at its principal office [address pending].
