The officers carry out the day-to-day governance of the association, subject to the bylaws and the oversight of the board.

Arno Markus

BA, MSc, CPRW Founding President & Chair of the Board

Arno Markus is an award-winning executive career strategist and one of the earliest practitioners to build a dedicated reverse recruiting practice for senior and C-suite candidates. He has represented hundreds of executives into roles that were never publicly posted, and founded the NRRA to give the profession he helped pioneer a published standard, an earned credential, and an enforceable code of ethics. He is the founder and CEO of iCareerSolutions, an NRRA member firm. As President he chairs the board and represents the association publicly. He edits The Reverse Recruiter's Handbook, the association's public reference on the profession, and writes at arnomarkus.com.

Tamara Cameron

MA, BA, BEd Vice President, Standards & Certification

Tamara Cameron leads service delivery, quality standards, and practitioner training for reverse recruiting engagements. A career educator by training, she oversees the NRRA's competency model, the certification curriculum, and examination integrity — the machinery that makes an NRRA credential mean something. She serves as the association's chief standards officer, and writes at tamara-cameron.com.

Krista Mitchell

BA, CPRW, CRS+IT Secretary‑Treasurer

Krista Mitchell is a senior executive résumé writer, IT résumé specialist and reverse recruiter. As Secretary‑Treasurer she keeps the association’s corporate records and minutes, maintains the membership register, and oversees its finances and annual filings.

Board of Directors

The founding board.

The board holds fiduciary responsibility for the association, adopts standards on the recommendation of committees, and confers honors. By design it includes seats that no member firm controls: independent directors and a public member who represents the interests of job seekers.

Arno Markus

Chairs the board and holds the founding-member seat. Recused, like every director, from any certification, judging, or ethics decision in which he or his firm has an interest.

Tamara Cameron

MA, BA, BEd Director · Standards

Holds the standards seat on the board and chairs the Standards Committee, which owns the competency model, the practicum rubric and the Code of Ethics.

Four board seats are open.

The bylaws reserve seats that no member firm controls. None has been filled yet:

Independent Director, Ethics & Integrity: chairs Ethics Review and safeguards the blind-judging protocol.
Independent Director, Certification: chairs the Certification Committee and rules on appeals.
Public Member Director: a former client or consumer advocate who represents job seekers.
Member-Elected Director: elected by the certified membership, first election with the founding class.

Founding-period disclosure. During the founding year, officer and board seats are held by founding members while independent seats are filled. Founding status confers no exemption from any standard: founding firms and their principals certify, compete, and answer to Ethics Review under exactly the rules that bind every member.
